See the Pressure Behind the Market Before the Big Move Becomes Obvious
Bring large exchange flows, extreme funding, open-interest impulses, long/short crowding and liquidation pressure into one market view. Whale Radar converts derivatives and large-flow context into an explainable Whale Pressure Index.
Derivatives pressure leans bearish with moderate confidence.
Some Moves Start Behind the Chart Before They Show Up on the Chart
Before a large move, derivatives can reveal crowding, rapid OI expansion, extreme funding or liquidation pressure. Watching each layer separately is fragmented; Whale Radar brings them into one coherent dashboard.
Large flow reaches an exchange
Large attributed inflows or outflows can change potential distribution or accumulation pressure when reliable attribution is available.
Open Interest suddenly expands
OI growth alongside price movement can show fresh leverage entering the market and changing the structure.
One side becomes overcrowded
Long/short crowding can make the market more vulnerable to reversal and squeeze dynamics.
Liquidations amplify the move
Clusters of forced closes can accelerate buying or selling pressure over short windows.
Replace a Stack of Disconnected Panels with One Pressure Map
Whale Radar does not replace analysis. It makes hidden derivatives and large-flow pressure visible before you make the decision.
Without Whale Radar
- Funding on one screen
- OI on another screen
- Long/short without context
- A noisy liquidation tape
- Large flows detached from the big picture
- No single pressure summary
With Whale Radar
- Whale Pressure Index
- Data Confidence
- Funding Heat
- 5m and 1h OI impulse
- Position Crowding
- Liquidation Pulse
- Attributed Exchange Flow
- 24h Pressure History
One Number for Orientation — Not a Buy or Sell Signal
Whale Pressure Index ranges from -100 to +100. Negative values indicate stronger sell/distribution pressure while positive values indicate stronger accumulation pressure. Only layers with valid data participate in the score.
Five Independent Layers — Each Telling a Different Pressure Story
Each layer is normalized independently before the deterministic engine combines them. If a provider is unavailable, that layer is removed from weighting and Data Confidence drops.
Attributed Flow
Asset and stablecoin exchange inflow/outflow with internal transfers excluded when reliable attribution exists.
Funding Heat
Extreme funding can reveal crowding or unusually expensive leveraged positioning.
Open Interest Impulse
Short-window OI changes reveal leverage entering or leaving the market quickly.
Liquidation Pressure
Compares long vs short forced closes and meaningful liquidation clusters.
Position Crowding
Global long/short ratios show which side of the market is becoming overcrowded.
It Does More Than Show Numbers — It Flags What Became Abnormal
BullionForge checks configurable thresholds and independently flags conditions such as Funding Extreme, OI Spike, Position Crowding and Liquidation Cluster.
A Single Snapshot Is Not Enough — Watch Pressure Change Through Time
Five-minute snapshots show whether pressure is strengthening, fading or repeatedly flipping sides, so the current reading has historical context.
Futures Market Structure, Asset by Asset
BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and BNB are compared through funding, OI change, price impulse and long/short crowding in one table.
| ASSET | MARK PRICE | FUNDING | OI 5M | OI 1H | PRICE 1H | LONG/SHORT | STATE |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BTC | $63,922 | +0.004% | -0.1% | -0.4% | -0.2% | 1.59× | Normal |
| ETH | $1,873 | +0.000% | -0.2% | -0.2% | -0.1% | 2.60× | Hot |
| SOL | $76.11 | +0.010% | -0.1% | -0.3% | -0.4% | 2.02× | Hot |
| XRP | $1.0088 | +0.003% | -0.1% | +1.7% | -1.1% | 3.01× | Hot |
| BNB | $599.34 | +0.009% | -0.1% | -0.5% | -0.3% | 2.20× | Hot |
Do Not Confuse Two Completely Different Pressures
Exchange Flow tracks asset movement between wallets and exchanges; Liquidation Pulse tracks forced closes in derivatives. They describe different forces.
Large Exchange Flow
Liquidation Pressure
Three Steps to an Actionable Picture of Market Pressure
Collect the Data
Binance metrics and, when the collector is active, liquidation history and attributed whale flow are collected and cached.
Normalize the Pressures
Funding, OI, liquidation, crowding and flow are translated into comparable pressure scores.
Build Index + Context
Whale Pressure Index, Data Confidence, anomalies and 24h history are presented in one dashboard.
Unavailable Is Not the Same as Zero
When a provider is offline, Whale Radar does not invent zero activity. The layer shows “—”, is removed from the score and lowers Data Confidence. Zero is valid only when the provider is confirmed online and no qualifying event actually occurred.
- Offline provider → layer weight is removed
- Stale data → confidence falls
- Zero is valid only with a confirmed-online provider

Know Exactly What Whale Radar Does Before You Use It
What exactly is Whale Radar?
A deterministic dashboard that combines large-flow pressure, funding, open interest, crowding and liquidations into Whale Pressure Index, Data Confidence, anomaly flags and pressure history.
Is Whale Radar free?
Yes. It is free for every logged-in BullionForge user and does not depend on subscription tier.
What does Whale Pressure Index mean?
It is a -100 to +100 pressure index. More negative values mean stronger sell/distribution pressure and more positive values mean stronger accumulation pressure. It is not a guaranteed trade signal.
What is Data Confidence?
It shows how much valid and fresh data coverage is participating in the calculation. Offline providers or stale layers reduce confidence.
Why do some fields show a dash?
Because missing data is not zero. Whale Radar does not fabricate neutral activity when a provider is unavailable.
Do I need to connect my exchange API?
No. Market data is supplied through public/server-side BullionForge infrastructure; a user exchange API key is not required to view the radar.
Does Whale Radar see every whale transaction?
No. Attributed flow depends on the active provider and its coverage. Missing coverage is never interpreted as proof of no market activity.
How is the live liquidation tape different from the Pressure Index?
The live tape is a fast display-only public feed for meaningful liquidation prints. It does not by itself alter the authoritative server-side Pressure Index.
Does Whale Radar generate buy or sell signals?
No. It is designed for market awareness and context. Entry, exit and risk sizing still require independent analysis and risk management.
How is the 24h history built?
Whale Radar stores five-minute Pressure Index snapshots so strengthening, fading and regime changes can be observed over time.
Do Not Watch the Market Through Price Alone
Open Whale Radar and put funding, OI, crowding, liquidations and major flows beside price before your next decision.
Whale Radar is a market-analysis and awareness tool, not financial advice, a directional guarantee or an automated execution system. Attributed-flow coverage depends on the active provider and available data.
